THE MAGIC OF TREES

Melissa LeVangie Ingersoll has been rescheduled. Ms Ingersoll, who has been passionately involved in aboriculture for 2 decades, delights in teaching people about the importance, health and magic of trees. Her presentation will focus on planting and growing trees in urban areas. Depending on social protocols, the program may be conducted via Zoom.

STEVENS-COOLIDGE PLACE; MARRYING 1920’S TO 2020’S

Last January, we learned about the property’s history, restoration challenges and the Trustees’ marketing and accessibility ideas. This year, Joann Vieira will share with us the Trustees of Reservations plans to enhance the property using traditional garden design features, improved natural areas and a blend of native and introduced plants. Depending on social protocols, the program may be conducted via Zoom. A light Bread and Soup luncheon is tentatively scheduled to follow the program.

DESIGN WITH VINES

Gardening diva, Cheryl Monroe will share with us how growing and designing with vines can add interest to and embellish our gardens. She is a 20 year veteran of the self-taught school of gardening who is a now a graduated Master Gardener specializing in clematis and garden design.

BEHIND THE SCIENCE OF PLANTING DESIGN

Christie Dustman is a nationally certified landscape designer with over 20 years experience in garden design, installation and maintenance. She will give us advice on how to create a property layout plan with both hardscape and garden areas, how to explore the functions plants can play in a garden given their shapes, forms, textures and colors, and how to create a planting plan.

From The White House To Your House

Ruth Loiseau is a nationally recognized Master Floral Designer who has been creating floral designs for special events at the Whitehouse since the Reagan Administration. She will create 7 floral arrangements while providing us with tips on flower arranging and regaling us with anecdotes from her time spent working at the Whitehouse.
