Member of the Garden Club Federation of Massachusetts, Inc. and the National Council of State Garden Clubs, Inc.
General Meetings: General Meetings are held at 10 a.m. in South Church, Andover on the first Tuesday of the month from October through May, unless members are notified otherwise.
Dues: Membership is open throughout the year. Annual dues are $55.00 for members who join the Club from June 1st to January 31st. Members joining between February 1st and May 31st pay the guest fee for each meeting they attend. Dues for the upcoming year are collected at the May meeting: checks may be given to the treasurer, Cynde Egan, or mailed to her at 197 Shawsheen Rd. Andover, MA 01810. Dues are also payable by credit card on the AGC website for $56.95. AGC is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
Area of Interest: AGC strongly encourages you to join at least one area of interest at the time of registration. Indicate one (or more) of the following activities in which you would like to participate:
Hospitality (assist in serving and setting up refreshments at meetings)
Civic Beautification (help maintain urns and designated garden spaces in Andover)
Garden Therapy (participate in working with nursing home residents in monthly activity sessions)
Junior Gardeners (work with youth in planned monthly activities)
Program Committee (research interesting speakers and activities for meetings)
Environmental Awareness (work to promote members’ knowledge of environmental issues, and use of more sustainable methods of gardening)
Continuing Education (take classes in Gardening, Landscape Design, Environmental and Flower Show School)
